Step 1: Application form and resume
The first step is to complete an online application form where you will need to provide past work history and answer some behavioural questions. You will need to upload your resume and your latest school results or highest level of qualification.

You will also be required to complete an online assessment. The answers to your application questions and the online assessment will be used throughout the recruitment process to short-list applicants so please put in your best effort.

Step 2: Online Assessment 2
Should you be successful in progressing through to this stage, you will be required to complete further online assessments. You will receive notification by email so please check your email regularly.

Step 3: Interview
Should you be successful in progressing through to interview stage you will be contacted to arrange an appropriate time. At the interview you will also be required to complete an online assessment to verify your previous online answers, undertake a colour vision assessment and bring along your original certificates and qualifications. Essential Energy conducts behavioural-based interviews.

Step 4: Pre-employment checks
As part of our recruitment process we may request a number of pre-employment checks to be completed including references, medical and security checks.

Step 5: Offer
Should you be successful in gaining an apprenticeship with Essential Energy, you will be contacted and offered a role.
