The Solar Bonus Scheme ended on 31 December 2016.
Customers who had been receiving a feed-in tariff of 60 cents or 20 cents under the scheme, now receive a much lower tariff and may have to replace their meters.
If you were a Solar Bonus Scheme customer with a gross meter, you have two options available to get the most value from your solar installation:
- Contact your electricity retailer to see if they are rolling out net meters to replace your current gross meter
- Contact an Authorised Service Provider (ASP) to either replace or re-wire your current gross metering with net metering.
