Warehouse and Supply Chain Traineeships
In 2024, one Warehouse and Supply Chain Traineeship will be available (applications open soon).
As a Warehouse and Supply Chain Trainee you will be a member of the Inventory and Logistics team, which works to support field teams to maintain Essential Energy's electricity network safely and efficiently, by supplying materials and equipment, including personal protective equipment, through a multi-tiered stores system.
You will gain a Certificate III in Supply Chain Operations and a forklift licence. You will also be provided with on-the-job training to develop inventory and logistics skills, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, dispatch and delivery of goods.
Commencing in January 2024, the traineeship is for 2 years.

Note: Rate as of 1 July 2023, with yearly CPI changes in line with the relevant Enterprise Agreement.
*Allowances are paid in addition to this amount. All costs associated with travelling for training and work are paid for by Essential Energy.
^Pay progression occurs at the end of each year of traineeship.
