The Essential Energy 2018 Be a Safety Star magazine features the wonderful work of more than 1000 primary school students in our network area.
Each of these students participated in the annual Electricity Safety Week program and gained valuable knowledge about the hazards associated with electricity and how to be safe around it.
The artwork featured in this magazine was submitted for our 2018 Be a Safety Star poster competition, with the winners of each category (K-2, 3-4 and 5-6) receiving a $1,000 donation for their P&C Association to spend on a safety improvement.
We would like to extend our thanks to all the schools, teachers and individual students who participated and congratulate the winners of each age group.
