About the Graduate Program

Big opportunities don’t just happen in big cities. Your future can start right here.

Beginning your career with Essential Energy means joining a trusted organisation that genuinely invests in your growth, wellbeing and future. You’ll be part of a regional team that values balance, community and ongoing development, while working in a sector that is evolving rapidly and full of opportunity.

Over two years, graduates take part in meaningful, community-focussed work that builds deep capability across our network. The program includes:

  • Rotations across the business
Grow your experience across one to two rotations each year, working with different teams and locations throughout regional NSW. You’ll gain practical skills, explore career pathways and deepen your understanding of the organisation.
  • A tailored development journey
Access a two-year blended learning program that builds your technical, professional and leadership capability, supporting your transition from graduate to confident, independent contributor.
  • Strong networks and visibility
Grow your connections and profile through structured networking with leaders, alongside peer‑to‑peer activities that support collaboration, learning and career development.
  • Personalised support from day one
You’ll have a dedicated buddy to guide your onboarding, along with experienced mentors who support your development and career decisions throughout the program.
