As a graduate working with our Audit & Analytics, Enterprise Portfolio Management Office (EPMO) and Business Change teams, you’ll play an important role in supporting the delivery of projects and change in Essential Energy, by providing effective governance, strategic advice and clear communication. You’ll be working in a collaborative team environment and get the opportunity to work closely with people from all areas of the organisation.
You’ll undertake a diverse range of duties such as supporting the audit team in the delivery of audits across the business, including exposure to the use of data analytics to perform audits. You’ll have the opportunity to liaise directly with stakeholders across the organisation and work within all areas of projects, such as project financials, scheduling, risk and issue management, benefits realisation, and business readiness. This role will provide you with the support, learning opportunities, and hands-on experience necessary to embark on a rewarding and successful career in project management, change management or audit.

Essential Energy is evolving and adapting to our business needs, and to support this established the Contract Management Office. As a graduate in this Office, work with a supportive team who have a broad range of experience in industry and commercial contracting. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with other stakeholders to ensure outcomes are achieved in compliance with relevant legislation and policy. You will also gain exposure to other areas within our business such as People & Safety, Procurement, Legal, Finance and Project Management.
You will undertake a wide variety of duties including supporting the implementation and embedding of contract management frameworks, providing support for contract management practitioners, data analysis and reporting, while building and maintaining relationships, giving you the opportunity to expand your skills in Contract Management.

Position: Sustainability Graduate
Degree: Bachelor of Sustainability, Bachelor of Business, Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Environmental Science or equivalent

Through joining our Sustainability team as a graduate, you will be joining a team that plays an integral role in Essential Energy’s approach to a range of sustainability challenges and opportunities. From helping to respond to climate change, to empowering our people and enabling regional development and resilient communities. You will have the opportunity to work with a passionate and experienced team, with a holistic approach to sustainability.
You will be collaborating and liaising with internal and external stockholders and helping to develop and implement sustainability initiatives, as well as assisting with sustainability data management, governance, reporting and communications. We will consider people with any bachelor’s degree, provided you are interested in building a career in sustainability in the energy sector. As a graduate working in our Safety team, you will work as part of a close supportive team that play a vital role in ensuring our people lead a healthy lifestyle that has meaning and purpose through effective delivery of holistic health support. You will undertake a diverse range of duties including support with injury and illness case management, assist with Health Program delivery and managing Workers Compensation processes, giving you the ability to develop your expertise with the opportunity for career growth and development in the future.

You will undertake a wide variety of duties including administrative and people-orientated tasks, while supporting programs and strategic initiatives, giving you the opportunity to hone your Human Resources skills while having an excellent view of how all areas of our organisation work.

Position: Cyber Operations Graduate (Female Identified position)
Degree: Bachelor of Information Technology or equivalent

As a graduate within our Cyber Operations team, you work as part of the team to identify and assess security threats and advise on how Essential Energy responds to these threats. You will work will the organisation to support the digital change in a safe and secure way by protecting, detecting and responding to cyber threats and events and ensure cyber compliance.
You will also work very closely on a variety of large projects, identifying risks and ensuring the right measures are in place to support the projects, as well as business-as-usual matters.
