Our Graduate Program recruitment process is designed to be clear, supportive and easy to follow, helping you understand what to expect at every stage.
Below is a general overview of the five stages:
1. Online application and assessment
The first thing you will need to do is complete an online application, including uploading a copy of your up-to-date resume and cover letter*. Once you have done this, you will receive an email with a link to complete the online assessment phase of the application process. Be sure to complete both the application and assessment before the advertised closing date.
2. Virtual interview
After applications have been reviewed, shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a short one-on-one Zoom interview with a key stakeholder(s) related to the position. This conversation helps us learn more about you and gives you the opportunity to ask questions about the role and our organisation. Interviews generally begin about three weeks after application close.
3. Assessment day
Candidates who progress to this stage will join an in person assessment day. This stage of the application process will help you get to know us a little better and experience our culture first-hand. You will participate in interactive activities and have the opportunity for face-to-face discussions with various key stakeholders. Assessment days take place a few weeks after interviews, and you will be given plenty of notice if you’re invited to attend.
4. Pre-employment checks
Before you can join the team, several pre-employment checks are required. These may include Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC) and qualification check(s), as well as a pre-employment medical and work rights check. These checks ensure we maintain a safe, reliable and trusted workforce for the communities we serve.
5. Offer
Successful applicants will receive a phone call followed by a formal written offer. The onboarding process that follows is designed to help you feel prepared, welcomed and supported as you begin your graduate journey with us. Formal offers are commonly issued mid-year, after all checks are completed.
