Executive Manager, Engineering appointed to AEMC reliability panel

Essential Energy’s Executive Manager, Engineering David Salisbury has been appointed to the Australian Energy Markets Commission’s (AEMC) Reliability Panel, which reviews and reports on the safety, security and reliability of the national electricity system.

Mr Salisbury is an experienced executive and an accomplished engineer with expertise in gas distribution, and electricity and gas transmission across the United Kingdom as well as electricity distribution in Australia. He has a strong technical background with in-depth commercial and regulatory experience and first-hand knowledge of using technology to enable transformation.

David said, “I’m delighted to accept this appointment to the AEMC Reliability Panel as their Distribution Network Service Provider (DNSP) representative.”

“The AEMC is the industry rule maker focused on providing secure and reliable power to customers. I’m looking forward to being able to contribute the knowledge and industry best practices that we utilise every day at Essential Energy to the panel to drive best value for customers.”
