Office and Staff Registers

As per section 4.2.4 of the Ring-fencing Guideline, Essential Energy is required to maintain and make publicly available two registers:

SAPS Register

As per section 6.2.3 of the Ring-fencing Guideline, Essential Energy is required to maintain and keep a register that identifies key information associated with each regulated stand alone power system (SAPS) used to provide other services within its network.

Information Sharing

As per section 4.3.3(d) and 4.3.4(a) of the Ring-fencing Guideline, Essential Energy is required to:

  • establish an information sharing protocol that outlines how and when we will make information that we share with a related electricity service provider or other legal entity available to registered legal entities and publish the protocol on our website; and
  • establish, maintain and keep a register of all related electricity service providers and other legal entities who request access to information identified under clause 4.3.3(a) and must make the register publicly available on our website.

Note that this information is only required to be shared with other registered legal entities if provided to a related electricity service provider or other legal entity and not where provided to the related electricity service provider under clauses 4.3.2(a)-(e).
