Electricity safety week competition winners announced

27 November 2023

Our safety stars are shining bright this year with just over 800 entries from 852 schools across the network in Essential Energy’s Electricity Safety Week competition.

It was a tough decision with so many creative and inspiring entries across the three categories - Be a Safety Star colouring-in, Be a Safety Star poster and Safety Week Superhero comic competitions.

Electricity Safety Week raises awareness of the hazards associated with electricity and teaches students how to be safe around electricity with the competition being an opportunity for the students to show off what they have learned.
